Codebreakers
Two undercover agents protect Curious Academy from weekly sabotage by a headteacher they don't suspect, racing to crack each case before the school inspector shuts them down — communicating in BSL to keep their missions secret, and teaching it to the audience along the way. Written for and produced by ITV Signpost for use in schools.

INT. CURIOUS ACADEMY - CAFETERIA - DAY
Empty cafeteria. The serving counter displays identical lunch trays, each containing a uniform grey mass that barely qualifies as food.
INT. KITCHEN STORAGE ROOM - CONTINUOUS
A SHADOWY FIGURE in rubber gloves systematically empties bags of fresh vegetables into waste bins. Carrots, broccoli, peppers. All perfectly good food being discarded.
The figure opens industrial tins labeled: "MEAL SUBSTITUTE - GRADE D" and begins to spoon grey sludge onto meal trays.
INT. CAFETERIA - LATER
MAX enters the cafeteria, sees the trays of grey jelly, and starts poking one with a ruler.
MAX
Doesn't respond to stimulus. Possible enemy rations.
